If you are like me then every summer is a bit of a drag as we have to wait for the start on the new English Premier League season and that is true even when there is a big international competition like the World Cup or European Championships to get your teeth into.

Will De Bruyne help Man City to seal £46m transfer? 0

I would have thought that the transfer of Kevin De Bruyne to Manchester City was already a done deal after the Man City transfer rumours revealed this week that we had already made an offer of around £46 million to the German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg, despite denials from the coach Dieter Hecking. City have not been shy of splashing even more cash to increase their chances of winning the Premier League title, and De Bruyne will definitely give them more firepower for the campaign, which resumes with a cruch match against Chelsea on Sunday.

There is a growing feeling that the Argentine international is not only the best at the minute, but the best ever, eclipsing superstars like Pele and Maradona.
