Everton and Villa hoping to sign Sinclair from Man City

When Scott Sinclair moved to Manchester City on the last day of the summer transfer window last year, it was always expected that he would find it hard to force his way into the first team. City were the Premier League champions and full of world class players like David Silva and Yaya Toure. Sinclair must be disappointed with his debut season, though, because he has made just two league starts.

Two teams hoping that he has had enough and wants to move on are Aston Villa and Everton, according to the Mirror. David Moyes and Paul Lambert know that the 23-year old is a quality player and are preparing offers for a summer transfer.

Just like the Adam Johnson situation, Roberto Mancini will probably not stand in his way if he wants to move, but will hope that he sticks it out and tries to force his way into contention. With the title now a distant dream for City, maybe Mancini will give Sinclair a few games to get his confidence and form back, because he could be a real asset on the wing. One good game or a goal could be all it takes to set him back on the path he was on at Swansea where he scored 35 goals in two seasons.
