Man City boss happy with Barcelona!! Is he mad? 0

Manuel Pellegrini knew that Manchester City were in for a tough time in the knockout round of the Champions League. The options were Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid, and Man City were drawn against the Spanish champions Barcelona. Hmmmm.

Why Man City must go all out attack vs. Arsenal 0

This game comes at a great time for Manchester City, and it is no exaggeration to say that we simply have to take all three points. Last season we were quite happy with a point, but with Arsenal sitting on yop of the league and six points ahead of City, a draw will not be enough this time.

Man City could surprise Bayern and Go for it with Silva fit again 0

Having already qualified for the next round of the Champions League, Manchester City travel to Germany to face last year’s champions Bayern Munich at the Allianz arena tonight. It could be seen as a thankless task, especially with a crucial Premier League clash against the leaders Arsenal on Saturday, but there is still an outside chance of winning the group.

Is Pellegrini wrong to forget Bayern and focus on Arsenal? 0

There is no doubt that Manchester City have a serious problem with their away form, after dropping points on the road again yesterday. In fact, by the end of the game against a depleted Southampton side at St. Mary’s, we were quite relieved to come away with a point. Luckily enough, Chelsea lost as did Manchester United, but it is still a concern.

Good away win has made Man City BIG favourites for title 0

Manuel Pellegrini was clearly delighted that Manchester City came away from the Hawthorns with all three points after beating a string West Brom side 3-2. A lot of the talk surrounding City recently has been about the away form holding back the title push, because City have been destroying teams at home and scoring for fun, with 28 goals scored in the last six games at the Etihad.

Man City forwards getting sick of the weak defence 0

When Sergio Aguero scored in injury time to give Manchester City their first ever Premier League title, it was probably the most exciting finish to a league campaign ever. Because City had got themselves in a real pickle by conceding twice to QPR, but in general the team was built on a solid defence, as well as scoring more than any other team.

Man City glad to be at home for must win game against Everton 0

Maybe I am being too sensationalist, but I feel that Manchester City must win their game against Everton today if we don’t want our title challenge to slip away before it gets going. It promises to be a tough test, with the Toffees being the only unbeaten team in the league, but at least City have the advantage of being at home, because the away form has been nothing short of terrible so far.

Take Hart Joe! Man City were bad all over 0

Inconsistency is killing Manchester City at the start of this season, although individual errors obviously don’t help. I am not saying that Joe Hart has not made mistakes, but he is getting too much of the blame for City’s problems. The whole team was not at the races against Bayern Munich last night, it was almost like they froze.

Man City could copy Dortmund and reach Champions League final says Pep!! 0

Even though Manchester City have failed to get out of the group stages of the Champions League for two years in a row, the manager of their opponents tonight is not taking them lightly and has declared them to be one of the strongest teams in the competition. And Pep Guardiola certainly knows what he is talking about, having won the competition twice in his first three years as manager of Barcelona.

Man City react to defensive problems by signing Demichelis 0

There has been a lot of talk this week about whether the transfer window should be closed before the season starts, but Manchester City will be one team who is glad it is still open. It has given Manuel Pellegrini the chance to react to the defensive frailties that have been on show since Victor Kompany picked up his groin injury.
