Edin Dzeko is the top scorer for Manchester City in the Premier League this season, although not by much. With 12 in 24 games, the Bosnian is slightly ahead of Carlos Tevez who has 10 in 26games, and Sergio Aguero who has nine in 22 games. Although Dzeko was often used as a substitute earlier in the season, he has worked himself into Roberto Mancini’s good books and is starting regularly now.

There are story linking Manchester City with two possible transfer targets who could replace the French international Samir Nasri. The 25-year old’s career at the Etihad has stalled this season, with many thinking that some of Roberto Mancini’s comments about players needing to prove themselves were directed at him. The young Dutch star Adam Maher of AZ Alkmaar and the Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic of Roma are the players that City are looking at as possible replacements, apparently.
